On August 31, 2005, Lush Beads opened in its new location at 120 Merrimack Street.
Owner and primary shop hostess Liz Stewart has been beading since 2000. She runs the shop and also teaches classes. Before opening Lush Beads, Liz worked at two other area bead stores. Before that, Liz made her living in the tech industry as a UNIX systems administrator. Liz currently lives in Chelmsford with her Siamese cat Miss Cleo.
