Once on the Lowell Connector:
- Follow the Lowell Connector to the end (also known as Exit 5C - Lowell
Center.) Take a left at the light at the end of the connector. This is
Gorham Street.
- Go straight through 3 lights. You are now on Central Street. (Ignore
the confusing street sign that shows Central Street turning off to the left.
This is incorrect! Go straight!)
- Follow Central Street to the end (2 or 3 blocks, and through another light),
and turn left. This is Merrimack Street.
- 120 Merrimack Street is about 1/2-3/4 block down on the left. We are
next to Downtown Dancewear. There is a Verizon pay
phone directly in front of our shop. Take your first
right onto John Street to park in the parking garage, or look for on-street
parking.
Parking Information
On-street parking is available for up to 2 hours at $1 per hour. Bring
lots of quarters. On-street parking can be difficult to obtain. You might have
luck on some of the side streets, but there are a lot of one ways and it is easy
to get lost. Check your meter before you put quarters in, and verify that
it is not a 15-minute parking meter! You WILL be ticketed if your meter
expires (the ticket is $15-$20), and they now ticket if you "feed" the meter
for more than 2 hours. Street parking is FREE after 6PM and on weekends.
The John Street garage usually has plenty of parking. $1 for 30 minutes,
$2 for 1 hour, $1 per hour after the first hour. Limit is $8 for 24 hours.
Parking is plentiful on weekends. This garage is now computerized and is no
longer free at any time.
